WHAT PERMITS ARE GOOD IN OUR AREA

The ONLY ATV Permits/Passes accepted in our riding area of the City of Kawartha Lakes are:
  • our KATVA trail permit(s),
  • the HATVA annual trail permit and
  • the temporary Alliance pass.

The following ATV Permits/Passes ARE NOT VALID in our riding area of the City of Kawartha Lakes:
  • Trillium Trail Pass, 
  • OFATV Pass,
  • EOTA Pass
  • ATVOntario PowerPass and
  • HATVA Regional Temporary Pass
WHERE CAN YOU RIDE WITH A KATVA PERMIT

With a Kawartha ATV Association Membership permit/pass you can ride any of our sanctioned trails in the City of Kawartha Lakes,  which includes Victoria Rail Trail Corridor - Bethany, Lindsay, Fenelon Falls, Kinmount, and the Somerville (Victoria) Forest, north of Burnt River, PLUS the area commonly referred to as the Five Points system, north east of Bobcaygeon.

In conjunction with our current Alliance with HATVA, with a KATVA permit you can also ride any sanctioned trails of the Haliburton ATV association, which includes trails in the regions of Muskoka, Madawaska and Haliburton County plus the Algonquin West ATV Club and North Hasting ATV Association areas.

Where else do you get a better riding experience and value for your money.....NO WHERE.....JOIN THE KATVA TODAY!

PUBLIC MEETING  PROPOSED ATV TRAIL

The Township of Douro-Dummer will hold a public meeting on Tuesday March 23 at the Douro Community Centre - 2893 Hwy. 28, To receive comments on a proposed All Terain Vehicle (ATV) trail.

The proposed trail will designate specified roads & road allowances within the Township to provide a trail route that will connect with proposed trails to the east. (Havlock-Belmont-Methuen Township)

A draft by-law to designate the proposed route and establish certain regulations for the use of the trail is available at the Municipal Office (894 South Street, Warsaw) and on their  website www.dourodummer.on.ca.
